I have signed up to join the Ubuntu Political Party. I would like to resign/retract my membership. Some feedback that may be useful: I joined to meet face to face with like minded people through this site with the intention of having a presence in my local area to inform and educate about the principles of Ubuntu and what we could do to have a strong presence in this area. I have reached out to members in my area re connecting and getting something moving in our area with no response. One can join any number of social network sites to air opinions, complain about the systems we live within, repost videos and quotes but unless people are willing to be proactive, I am sorry but I do not see the point in being part of another social network page. We are drowning in information and opinions what we need is action. I wish the project every success in making changes in our world. Many blessings Gayle

I hear you! It is very frustrating, I see Micheal doing so much but it need a village to start with or something. I was just listening to this guy who say exactly that. Many do and accomplish a lot. But, in a local, like where I am, I am alone. Still working on ideas on my own but it is going no where yet. Here's the video who say just that, enough of knowledge, we need to DO now!

Well I have experienced the complete opposite. If you touch the right buttons with your argummets, you show them numbers and statistics, and mix some good old comun sense, they start to get this empty look, and you focus there, just give them what they already now but need to conect the dots. This is not just a website, it's a way of free thinking, and a completely diffrent way to see and live life

and some patience is required to allow this to unfold properly. There is already a gathering and sorting, forming going on but at the core we have the same vision and that is the the key.

Exacly, and this way of thinkinking that does not let our minds imagine and beleave in this philosophy is just placed on people, but no leader ever said that it was impossible and it's better if you live it like that, never. If you are a black person or a women you should k

Thank you all for your feedback I really appreciate it. All of you who commented are far, far away in other lands. Have you noticed that not one Aussie responded. I hear you Kat L and yes patience is needed but so is action. Thank you for the link Unelady. I will check it out. Pedro, I am both black and a woman and yes those things took a long time but we live in a completely different world now a world that is more educated, more aware and we have instant communication. True Qba nor was I expecting that. Some connection and dialogue would be very welcome though.... I have introduced myself to everyone in my area and no response... Blessings Gayle

I couldn't agree more on your sentiments, Gayle. We need to move forward in action and there is precious little to be found. If there were signs of a group making advancements in the area of action, I would join them. Let me know if you hear of one. Thank you for the courage to create this dialogue.

I saw a lot of action about 3 years ago but people got discourage cause they were trying to fight the system. We need Ubuntu, that create a new system. Maybe, We can create a place where we share ideas on how to proceed from here and just start there. We may not need a local group but a earth group. I suggest starting with having a world citizenship so we can move on earth more freely. Is anyone know how to create a international group here?

if you click community at top of the page, you will see all posts everybody posts. i pretty much never use the local groups, only for posting something if i wanna talk only to Belgians non the less everybody can see it in community.. witch withholds me abit to start talking Dutch even in the Belgian circle cause it will be posted in community as well.. and don't wanna be rude, so i'm keeping it in English.. alto i don't think that was the original idea for the circle's. i believe allot happens on Facebook groups as well. nearly all country's where ubuntu is actif have some kind of ubuntu Facebook page as well, ireland, uk, ausie ubuntu-facebook pages nearly daily post stuff. i think they hold the key for more local contact. this however is kinda, the master platform, connecting all ubuntu people worldwide. i love coming here, to see the world map ( if you click home) it grows daily HURAAAY it think this site is therefore a good indicator to show people where people are waking up, a good site to offer support to new people, help each other out with questions, of just create discussions to see what the official ubuntu point of view is on some topics etc I'm rather new here, but I'm willing to work with what has been offered to us.

Anyone can get to her from NS? Maybe we can all help and change the mentality at that particular case and that would help everyone else! ;)

I think we should all think what can we DO together cause most feel alone and not able to help. I feel that way myself.

why not contact your local organizer who can put you in touch with more information. There are on line work shops that give much more information on how this works.
