I live in East Africa (Burundi) where Ubuntu is a cultural concept. I know it doesn't seem so with all the upheaval that's been going on here for decades, and intensified in the last year. I joined because I want to follow what's going on in the rest of the world, among people whose world view I share.
Rangutan You are lucky, I moved from RSA to Germany in 1991 to seek wealth. It was the worst decision in my life. I am still treated as immigrant and moron. Refugees are also finding it hard in Europe. Your upheaval was to do with greed and capitalism, it will change now with better Internet presence, easy in Africa but much harder to change now in western countries where the corporations and banks control the people as robots and slaves.
