I was so amazed to hear about the Ubuntu movement. It's something that is so far removed from mainstream American society. I believe another way to make this happen, is local artist communities. Several people including myself and my father were involved in several artist communities in Worcester Massachusetts. From 1995-2004 in these communities, all decisions were made by consensus. These were groups of no less than 20 people in which everyone had to agree on decisions that we discussed in our meetings. The only thing that brought us down, was in 2004 a "false flag" was waved over us. Discuouraged me for several years. Now, 11 years later, I have moved back to my community, because I found true love, and we want to make this happen again. I hope we can incorporate many of the ideas and practices in the Ubuntu movement. This is the time for awakening. Anyone in Massachuetts, feel free to contact me!!
Life in service to others, brings love to self, allowing the cycle to continue.
