I just thought I will share something that happened to me this week ! Last week I was shopping for some silikon for a glass project I am doing. There was a woman behind the counter organising the paperwork so I could take the silikon and pay for it, she ased me if it was my job because she needed a aquarium for her turtle. I told her it is not my job as I was going to go and pay for it, I was walking when I had a thought and I turned around to ask her what size aquarium she needed, she was happy that I have come back. I told her I have some old glass panels if it was ok for her and she said yes thats fine. she was happy that I agreed to make her the aquarium! Last night with her husband they came to pick up the aquarium from my house. They were very happy with it and they offered to pay me some money, I politly told them that I will not accept any money for the aquarium because I have allready received something much more valuble and that is the happiness I have given them with the aquarium this was worth much more then all the money in the world to me!! They did not want to beleive it at first they were very suprised, they told me nobody has ever done anything like this to them and that this dose not happen in todays world!! They were very very thankfull that a stanger (me) has done something like this to them!

They ended up enviting me to there house they want to get to know me better!!

To me this is just a small example of how we can make this world a better place and how we can start to come tougather again!! I beleive in being the change you wish to see in the world!!

By the way it did not cost me any money and I have made people very happy including myself!!!

I would like to know what type of world you want to live in!!

much love to all of you my brothers and sisters dont forget we are all one and we are all in this togather!!.

lovely story and very inspiring, it just shows how much the little things mean. And yes it would be a much nicer world if we all took a little time to be nice and helpful to each other.

Good stuff, Robi. Greetings from the North-East of England. I enjoy gifting when I get the opportunity - partly because it feels good/correct, but even more so because generosity is disruptive. It utterly contradicts the story we've all been told: that humans are essentially mean; that we must compete; that kindness = weakness. Best wishes, Peter.

Thanks Sue and Peter, I hope that people can start to expiriance that wonderfull feeling when you give from the heart and not wanting anything in return. The hapiness you bring to others can tear down that invisibe wall between people that has devided us for a long time! I also think it is counter productive for the people who have worked so hard in the background to divide us for this long! Love to all........

Robi. I don't know about people. I'm only one. The term "leverage" wasn't familiar to me until very recent years. Who can estimate the leverage of your considered act? Not I.
From "UK' (geog) - and me. PJ

everybody is only 1 Peter, yes agrees Robi when you do something for someone just because, and not for a personal gain it really makes a difference and does give you a good feeling
