Stiffwood "Paranioa is the price one pays to be able to survive in a sick & corrupted society." The only way you can contest with internet privacy and censorship is to find the oldest version of Linux, the oldest pre 2003 computer and boot it everytime from disk on start up. No updates plain and simple. Even then you still have an uphill battle.

Doug Hey Mark.....I won't buy another "new" computer again. I will be buying a new motherboard soon and puting it together myself. I'll go AMD cpu...NOT Intel! That way I'll make sure that the manufacturers "bios" chip is not compromised by that manipulating, cheating, arrogant, controlling Bill Gates. What a jerk....trying to eliminate Linux by intimidating the computer manufacturers! Ironically, the older computers with Windows 7 or less installed are contemporary dream machines for Linux. They will still be good 10 years from now too, running as lean and as mean as the first day Linux was installed.
